ABOUT THE AUTHORS
DEAN YOUNG is the author of 14 books of poetry, including Pulitzer Prize and Griffin Award finalists. His 15th, New and Selected Poems, published by Copper Canyon, kicks off the 12-13 Poetry Series.

Wave Books poets MAGGIE NELSON and EILEEN MYLES will read their poetry and speak about art from SAM's new exhibit, Elles: Women Artists from the Centre Pompidou, Paris.

Northest Master DAVID WAGONER will share his poetry, including the new volume After the Point of No Return, and stories of his life among literary giants such as Theodore Roethke.

Poet and memoirist NICK FLYNN is the author of three books of poetry and two memoirs. His earlier memoir, Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, is now a film, Being Flynn, starring Robert DeNiro, Paul Dano and Julianne Moore.

John Keats will make a special appearance in the Poetry Series through the ruminations of poet and scholar STANLEY PLUMLY, the author of Posthumous Keats: A Personal Biography, which was named a Los Angeles Times Favorite Book and a Washington Post Best of 2008.

National Book Award-winner NIKKY FINNEY is the author of four books of poetry, editor of The Ringing Ear: Black Poets Lean South, and co-founder of the Affrilachian Poets.

Pulitzer Prize-winning poet JORIE GRAHAM is the author of 12 books of poetry and several edited collections, including her latest volume, PLACE.
