Philippe Quint

Violin

Lauded by Daily Telegraph(UK) for his “searingly poetic lyricism” violinist Philippe Quint is carving an unconventional path with his impassioned musical desire for reimagining traditional works, rediscovering neglected repertoire to commissioning works by contemporary composers. Whether with his Tango Band the Quint Quintet or a most recent journey with a Jazz Trio, his dedication to exploring different styles and genres with an award winning discography has solidified him as one of the foremost violinists of today.

Judy Washburn Kriewall

Flute

Judy Washburn Kriewall has been a member of the Seattle Symphony flute section since 1979 and is also a member of the Seattle Opera orchestra.

Laura DeLuca

Clarinet-E-Flat Clarinet

Clarinetist Laura DeLuca joined the Seattle Symphony in 1986. She is also a co-founding member of Seattle Chamber Players, a contemporary music ensemble formed in 1989, boasting nearly 100 commissioned works.

Rachel Swerdlow

Viola

Rachel Swerdlow has been a member of the Seattle Symphony viola section since 1987. She enjoys a varied career, playing chamber music and baroque viola as well as coaching chamber music.

Meeka Quan DiLorenzo

Cello

Before joining the Seattle Symphony in 2009, Assistant Principal Cello Meeka Quan DiLorenzo held the title of Associate Principal Cello of the Utah Symphony for five seasons.

Walter Gray

Cello

Walter Gray has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Far East and Europe, including performances in Moscow, Odessa, Zagreb, Seoul and Tokyo.

Jessica Choe

Piano

Pianist Jessica Choe began her musical studies at the age of 3 in her native Korea where she was a prize winner in several national piano competitions including the Samick National Piano Competition, the Korea Daily Times Piano Competition and the Korean Department of Education Music Competition.
