Join us for the Seattle Symphony’s exciting Classical KING FM Family Concerts — four opportunities to have memorable experiences with your children (or grandchildren) through the delightful weaving of music and story. These hour-long concerts feature popular stories and music guaranteed to charm, delight and inspire.

Attend any of the Tiny Tots, First Concerts, Symphony Kids or Classical KING FM 98.1 Family Concerts performances and receive free day-of-concert admission to Soundbridge Seattle Symphony Music Discovery Center.

Tiny Tots Series (0 to 5 years old)

Let Your Music Shine with Lisa & Linda™

Engage your youngest music lovers with a 35-minute interactive program featuring musical games, stories and songs. Pre-concert activities will begin 30 minutes before the show in the Samuel & Althea Stroum Grand Lobby.

First Concerts Series (3 to 6 years old)

Meet a Seattle Symphony musician in Soundbridge! Musicians will perform short pieces and invite questions from curious little ones and their caregivers. Children will be musical explorers with their ears and have the opportunity to play the featured instrument after the show.

Live @ Benaroya Hall: The Psychedelic Furs and The Church

If you dissect today’s alternative rock music, you’ll find that much of it pays homage to a single iconic ‘80s rock group: The Psychedelic Furs. Born out of London’s post-punk rock scene, the Furs quickly gained popularity with the advent of MTV. Psychedelic rock band The Church joins the Furs for this summer tour, fresh off their 25th studio release, Further/Deeper, and 2015 performances at SXSW.

Watjen Concert Organ Recital–Demonstration

Monday, 1 August, 2016 12:30PM

Join Resident Organist Joseph Adam for a free organ demonstration recital. Each program throughout the season will offer the listener a chance to hear Mr. Adam perform different selections from the vast organ repertoire highlighting the special nuances, interesting performance practices and stunning acoustics of the Watjen Concert Organ housed in Benaroya Hall. The program last approximately 30 minutes and can be incorporated into a building tour. Please call 206.215.4856 to schedule a building tour in conjunction with a recital-demonstration.
