Introducing our new Family Connections Program:
Free Tickets For Kids and Teens 8-18
Don't get a sitter, bring the kids with you!
The Seattle Symphony is taking the bold step to invite young people ages 8-18 to attend
Masterworks Season and Seattle Pops series* performances FREE with the purchase of an adult ticket. The program is called "Family Connections" and it's an initiative of our Music Director, Ludovic Morlot, who has a passion for igniting the spark of imagination in young audiences and making symphony experiences more available to families.
*Please note that Family Connections tickets are not available for Seattle Pops: Home for the Holidays on December 5-8, 2013.
View our season brochure for a listing of Masterworks Season and Seattle Pops series concerts.
How does it work?
Free Family Connections passes are like "companion tickets." When you purchase a regularly priced ticket in sections C, D and E for yourself, you may request up to two Family Connections passes per order, for kids and teens ages 8-18.
Family Connections passes will become available three weeks prior to each concert date.
Family Connections passes may be used by parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, music teachers, mentors — anyone who brings a child ages 8-18 to a Masterworks or Seattle Pops concert.
The Seattle Symphony is making available 60 tickets for each of the 53 Masterworks Season and 20 Seattle Pops series performances in the 2013-2014 season, for a total of 4,380 free tickets.
Family Connections passes will be specially marked tickets that must be used by kids and teens ages 8-18.
Family Connections passes are subject to availability; no adjustments for previous purchases. Prices subject to change.
Family Connections passes are available by phone and in-person only at the Seattle Symphony Ticket Office.
