Ring in the New Year with a concert of classical music blockbusters led by Ludovic Morlot, followed by a countdown to midnight and post-concert celebration. The concert will begin with Rachmaninov’s famous Second Piano Concerto, performed by rising-star British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor. After intermission, the Orchestra will be joined onstage by the Seattle Symphony Chorale and distinguished vocal soloists for Beethoven’s monumental Ninth Symphony, with its inspiring “Ode to Joy” finale.
