The St. Matthew Passion is presented in partnership with early music ensemble Pacific MusicWorks, who will present Bach’s St. John Passion on March 1 and 2 in the Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall.

Stephen Stubbs, Music Director of Pacific MusicWorks, will play the lute in the Seattle Symphony’s performances of the St. Matthew Passion and will conduct the Pacific MusicWorks performances of the St. John Passion.
