What’s New
Seattle Symphony premieres John Luther Adams work on June 20-23 The Seattle Symphony presents the world premiere of Become Ocean by American composer John Luther Adams, who has been hailed by New Yorker music critic Alex Ross as “one of the most original musical thinkers of the new century.” In Become Ocean, the composer aims not to relate a musical narrative but, rather, to immerse listeners so deeply in a musical seascape that they experience something of the power of the sea — and in that sense indeed become the ocean. Read all about it in The Seattle Times.
