Hailed as “the new king of Indian classical violin” (The Times of India), child prodigy and violin virtuoso Ambi Subramaniam has been performing all over the globe since his debut at age 7. Adept at South Indian and Western classical music, he has been enthralling audiences everywhere with his performances of South Indian classical, Western classical and fusion music. Apart from collaborating with his father and guru, the legendary Dr. L. Subramaniam, Ambi has also performed with great masters like Jean-Luc Ponty, Larry Coryell, Pandit Jasraj and M. Balamuralikrishna. Subramaniam has performed with the Orchestre National de Lille, Sinfonia Baltica, Filharmonica de Stadt Sibiu, the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra and the Leipzig Philharmoic Orchestra. Subramaniam is also a gifted pianist and South Indian classical singer.
