Nader is the Vice President of Amazon’s Worldwide Transportation business. He has been at Amazon for 11 years. Prior to this role, Nader and his team built Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) which enables authors and publishers worldwide self-publish their books in digital and print-on-demand and earn a living.
Before joining Amazon, Nader spent ten years with Sabre Inc. as a Vice President of Europe, Africa and the Middle East and as the Worldwide Vice President of Sabre’s Airline Solutions. He then spent three years as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company based in Zurich, Switzerland and four years as the Chief Operating Officer at CALEB Technologies, a decision support company focusing on the development and implementation of real time airline disruption and recovery management solutions.
Nader holds an M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering degrees both from Texas A&M University. Nader is an avid traveler and classical piano player. He also enjoys competitive swimming and squash. Nader is passionate about Bach, Mozart and Beethoven’s piano music and is learning Bach’s inventions (finished 8th and 13th and currently learning the 1st). Nader can’t really understand why his YouTube video of Mozart’s Sonata Facile (K545) in C has received over 48,000 views! Nader’s “bucket list” is to play one of Beethoven, Mozart or Bach’s piano concertos with SSO. Nader lives in Bellevue with his wife Oraib and four daughters.
