Ludovic Morlot

Conductor

French conductor Ludovic Morlot has been Music Director of the Seattle Symphony since 2011. Among the many highlights of his tenure, the orchestra have won three Grammy Awards and gave an exhilarating performance at Carnegie Hall in 2014, as reported in The New York Times: “The performance Mr. Morlot coaxed from his players was rich with shimmering colors and tremulous energy.”

Cyndia Sieden

Soprano

American soprano Cyndia Sieden moves easily among the Baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary repertoires to worldwide acclaim. In addition, her performances and recordings of his works affirm her status as one of the sovereign Mozart interpreters of the present day.

Efe Baltacıgil

Cello

Principal Cello of the Seattle Symphony since fall 2011, Baltacıgil was previously Associate Principal Cello of The Philadelphia Orchestra since 2003.

John Goberman

Producer

John Goberman is probably best known as the creator and founding producer of Live from Lincoln Center. For his work on public and commercial television, Goberman has received 13 Emmy Awards, three Peabody Awards, eight Sigma Alpha Iota awards, the first Television Critics Circle Award for Achievement in Music and has 53 Emmy Award nominations.

Hip-hop Artist

VellVett, a Seattle born, Hip Hop recording artist and winner of multiple NW ITM Live Music awards, with over 20 years writing and performance experience, is proving his passion for community, delivering contagious energy and quality points in every track! As a God-fearing man VellVett is standing up in the world of hip hop giving propitious and engaging lyrics on hot tracks with a seamless delivery attracting young and mature.

The Sound of the Northwest

Choir

Dedicated to increasing awareness and appreciation of the rich African American musical heritage since 1987, this choral ensemble offers exquisite harmonies and exciting, joyful rhythms that will bring a clap to the hands, a stomp to the feet and joy to the heart!

Nathan Cole

Violin

Nathan Cole, First Associate Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, has appeared as guest concertmaster with the orchestras of Houston, Minnesota, Oregon, Ottawa, Pittsburgh and Seattle. He is currently on the faculty at the Colburn School for the Performing Arts, with classes at the Colburn Conservatory and USC.

Julianne Johnson-Weiss

Soprano

Julianne Johnson-Weiss is an actress, director, Grammy nominated recording artist and award-winning songwriter. Since graduating from University of Portland in 1983, Johnson-Weiss has been a celebrated professional entertainer, nationally and internationally.
