Dr. Anna Edwards holds many positions as an artist and teacher in the Seattle area. Over the past sixteen years, she has built the Roosevelt High School symphony orchestra into a nationally recognized ensemble that has won 1st place in such festivals as the National Orchestra Cup, the American String Teachers Association, and Gresham Music Festival.
The Roosevelt High School Orchestras from Seattle, Washington are under the direction of Anna Edwards. The Roosevelt Orchestra program includes students from 9th – 12th grade. There are three orchestras with diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, and students who thrive on being not only well rounded musicians, but well-rounded in their education and extra-curricular activities.
