Eric Jacobs is the newly appointed Clarinet and Bass Clarinet of the Seattle Symphony. Prior to joining the Symphony, Jacobs was based in Los Angeles pursuing an active career as a chamber musician, orchestral musician and new music advocate.
Dana Jackson, a native of Seattle, Washington, is a member of the Seattle Symphony, Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra in Seattle, and the Santa Barbara Symphony. She is a freelancer up and down the West Coast and performs regularly on movie, tv, and commercial soundtracks. Ms. Jackson is also a director of the Archipelago Collective, an annual summer chamber music festival on San Juan Island, Washington.
Praised by The New York Times for her fearless and seductive playing, Seattle native Danielle Kuhlmann returns home to join the Seattle Symphony after a three-year tenure with the San Diego Symphony.
James Benoit, a native of Niskayuna, New York, is the newly appointed Principal Timpanist of the Seattle Symphony. Previously, Benoit was the Associate Principal Percussionist and Assistant Principal Timpanist with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and spent three seasons as a section percussionist with the Sarasota Opera.
Violinist Brittany Boulding has appeared as soloist with the Auburn Symphony, Cascade Symphony, National Repertory Orchestra, New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Northwest Sinfonietta, Orquesta de Camara Concierto Sur (Cuba), Pacific Northwest Ballet and Spoleto USA.
Mae Lin joined the Seattle Symphony in 2008 as a member of the second violin section. Having grown up in Bellevue, she was very excited to return home to join her hometown symphony.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Kokubo joined the Seattle Symphony in 2007.
Korean-born Canadian cellist Eric Han made his concerto debut with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra at the age of 14.
Travis Gore maintains a reputation in the classical and indie rock/pop world. Along with having performed with artists on records by recording artists Bryan John Appleby and Hey Marseilles, he is also producer and composer of his own alt/prog project Feeds On Majesty.
