Orchestra Seattle & Seattle Chamber Singers: Celebration

Orchestra Seattle and the Seattle Chamber Singers celebrate the conclusion of their 50th season with a grand concert of choral-orchestral music. Maurice Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé , a masterpiece of color and drama, receives a rare performance of the entire score, including the wordless chorus. The program opens with three psalm settings by composers who have special ties to OSSCS: Robert Kechley, a Seattle native and founding member of the ensemble; the brilliant French composer Lili Boulanger; and OSSCS’s music director, William White.
