Northwest Girlchoir has canceled this concert for the safety of our choristers, audience, and staff. We will be reaching out to ticket holders with information about their options. Thank you for supporting Northwest Girlchoir and the Seattle arts community. Please visit our website www.northwestgirlchoir.org for information about upcoming programs.
All 270 singers of Northwest Girlchoir, grades 1-12, take the stage at Benaroya Hall to celebrate how good it is to be in, and to sing in, a community, with diverse repertoire. Including the Jewish hymn “Hine Ma Tov,” Joan Szymko’s anti-bulllying piece “Words,” and Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi’s multi-movement Gloria with chamber orchestra, written for and first performed by the select girl pupils of the Venetian Ospedale. We’ll conclude with Jim Papoulis’ Juntos, in collaboration with projected photography from the artists of Youth in Focus.
