Artist/Filmmaker Robin Layton presents the lake with guitarist Will Ackerman

Pulitzer Prize-nominated artist/photojournalist/filmmaker and Nikon Ambassador Robin Layton presents her new book, the lake, a stunning collection of portraits documenting Lake Washington. The book is divided into four seasons, so audiences can follow the changing moods and life of Lake Washington from summer into fall, winter into spring. Discover the many faces of the lake, in all its magical moments and breathtaking beauty.

For this unique presentation, Robin teams up with Windham Hill Records founder and Grammy®-winning guitarist William Ackerman who will perform in front of videos and images from Robin’s book. Robin has been a fan of William Ackerman’s transcendent music since the age of 21 and often listened to it while photographing Lake Washington. Robin and Will imagined the perfect way to recreate the mood of those moments was to produce a performance of interlaced scenes and sounds. Fellow musician Todd Boston will also be on hand to perform solos and duets with Will during this special evening.

Robin will be signing copies of this limited-edition book/artwork directly following the November 21 presentation. (Note: there are only 2,000 printed copies of the lake. There will never be another reprint.)
