Dave Johnstone grew up in St. Louis, MO, where he began playing local jazz gigs at age 15. After high school Dave attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. Now based in Los Angeles, Dave is an in-demand live and session drummer. He currently serves as both music director and drummer for living legend Ellis Hall, up-and-coming pop singer/songwriter Casey Baer, and jazz/pop prodigy Aubrey Logan.
Michael Ragonese is a Los Angeles based pianist, composer, arranger, and educator. He received his Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies at California State University Northridge, where he led jazz combos to 1st place at the Reno and Monterey Jazz Festivals, also receiving the “Best College Performer” award at the Reno Jazz Festival. In 2017, Michael took 2nd place out of 8 piano finalists across the world in Lee Ritenour's Six String Jazz competition.

Los Angeles native Katie Hampton has recorded on over 30 films, TV shows and commercials, including Star Wars: Rogue One, Sing, Star Trek Beyond, The 57th Grammy Awards, Jurassic World, Modern Family and The Voice. Deep in the Rust was an EP of original songs by Katie and her composer dad Steve, released in 2013. Katie also performs with indie-rock band Opus Orange as a synth player/vocalist and sings backgrounds for jazz vocalist/trombonist Aubrey Logan.
