The Seattle Symphony presents free concerts throughout the Puget Sound region in neighborhood venues, schools and in prisons. These concerts aim to increase access to live performances and to bring people together to connect with their community.

Concerts feature chamber music, side-by-sides with community orchestras and full orchestra performances. All of the Seattle Symphony’s concerts in the community are made possible with support from 4Culture, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and Seattle Symphony donors.

Garfield High School Side-by-Side

Friday, 5 January, 2018 7:00PM

The Seattle Symphony partners with the Garfield High School Orchestra at Benaroya Hall for a joint performance of Tchaikovsky’s overture based on Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet. 2018 Young Artist Phoebe Rawn will perform Hüe’s flute fantasy in her Seattle Symphony debut.
