Thousands of donors come together to secure Seattle Symphony’s future.
Like all non-profit arts organizations, the Seattle Symphony is not immune to the financial impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. But when faced with unrecoverable losses from concert cancellations threatening the future of the orchestra, an incredible community of supporters has stepped up keep our music alive. Gifts of all sizes are already making an impact, and additional support will be needed in the months to come.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every Future Fund donor. When our doors at Benaroya Hall open once more, you will have played an important role in sustaining the orchestra for our entire community.
In addition to their generous contributions, the community of Future Fund donors has shared hundreds of powerful messages with the orchestra. The comfort, joy, and hope that music provides will help us face this challenging time together. We are humbled and inspired by this outpouring of support.
“The world needs music now more than ever. Thank you for finding a way to share it.”

“Everything that’s been happening over the past few weeks is really putting life in perspective. I want to support the things that I truly love in Seattle. The Symphony, without a doubt, is one of them. I hope I’m able to hear you in person soon, and I’m happy to offer my support until then.”

“The performance was absolutely magnificent. I had to remind myself that old men don’t cry. I completely ignored it.”
Harry (Stanwood, WA)
