Norcliffe Founders Room

As an intimate and casually elegant space, the Norcliffe Founders Room is perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner events, as well as wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions and business meetings. With high ceilings, a built-in granite bar and built-in sound system with wired microphone, the Norcliffe Founders Room is an ideal setting for your next event.

Included in the facility use fee (rental fee) is the use of furniture owned by Benaroya Hall, such as: 72” banquet rounds, 60” banquet rounds, 6’ tables, 8’ tables, up to 350 banquet chairs, and a variety of other seating options.


  • Provided exclusively through Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering. No outside food or beverage is allowed. To discuss food and beverage options, please contact the Catering Sales Manager at 206-336-6605. Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes Catering helps coordinate linens, napkins, china, glassware, etc.


  • The Norcliffe Founders Room has a built-in sound system with the ability to easily play background music via CD or iPod. The room also includes one wired microphone and one wooden lectern. There is no additional cost to utilize the built-in sound system, wired microphone or lectern. The built-in sound system is not equipped to handle any more than one wired microphone. If more than one microphone is necessary or if a wireless microphone is needed, then additional costs will apply for stage crew labor and equipment.
