S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium

The crown jewel of Benaroya Hall is the 2,479-seat S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium. This gorgeous auditorium is an acoustically brilliant venue that can accommodate a wide variety of events ranging from acoustical or amplified musical performances to lectures, business meetings, awards ceremonies and graduations.

Motorized projection screen:

  • 16'-2" tall by 28'-10" wide
  • Projection throw distance from control booth is 145’
  • Benaroya Hall does not own projectors or video switching equipment.

Lighting and sound:

  • A full range of equipment is available in house to support a variety of events; details available upon request.

Dressing rooms:

  • Four private dressing rooms with sink, lighted mirror
  • Two private dressing rooms, no sink
  • Two large rooms (one male, one female) with sinks, toilets, lighted mirrors, and single stall shower available
  • Two additional unisex restrooms on stage level

Loading dock:

  • Loading dock off Union Street, between Second and Third avenues; capacity to enclose 53’ trailer
